Start of the year is going well and we have the opportunity to meet with our mission president for a meeting and also for interviews. The mission is getting close to hitting its goals for the month and that would be a great start for us to get us going in the right way and starting off the year on a good note. I hope you are all staying warm and that the weather is not too bad down there. exchanges once again! I will be staying here for at least another 5 weeks, this transfer is shorter by a week because of all the new missionaries coming in. I will be with my companion from 3 months ago Elder Bawden once again here. This week we had a fun service project with our bishop, we helped him trim a couple of trees out in his property at his house and it ended up really fun and we also were able to learn from the scriptures.

This was a great start of the week, we had a baptism to start the year! It was very special and we were able to have a great musical number by a member from another ward who sings beautifully, it brought the spirit in right before the baptism and everything went smoothly. We are going to have a meeting with President this week, and we are going to be working to help more people. We got to do service at a ranch this week and we were in the back of a truck and we were throwing the hay off the back to feed the cows and then we checked the fence to make sure things were good and we walked down the river to take out any trash that might have been stuck there for when the rain comes it doesn't drag it everywhere.

Happy New Year! I hope everyone has been able to set some goals for next year. Christmas was great and so was New years, we got to be with the rest of the missionaries. We should be having a baptism this Saturday and hopefully I can send some pictures next week. We just hit the halfway point of yet another transfer and it has been great to be able to work with my companion so far.

Good week, we got to see our investigators at the Christmas party, our battery died on Saturday and it was raining but it got fixed fairly quick. We are hoping that our investigator can be baptized at the end of the month, the mission is making a push and the Christmas spirit is very strong. Thank you everybody for the Christmas wishes!

For thanksgiving we ate at the house of a member whose parents or grandparents, they were old, the lady breeds cats and she sells them for the movies and she is the lady whose cats are in like cats and dogs and i think Garfield and a bunch of movies that have cats. She said she has a whole house for the cats out by their ranch, that is our cat story hahah.

This week was good, transfers are here again and i am now with Elder Muffler in this same area. We have someone who wants to be baptized and he is so close! We are getting ready for Christmas and its coming up so fast! I hope everything is going well and that its not too cold over there!

Activity went great! We had a bout 500 people there with the rain and everyone enjoyed it. Here are some pics from the event.
